MiconaHex+Triz Shampoo Antimicrobial, Antifungal, Moisturizing Shampoo Dechra MiconaHex+Triz Shampoo for pets is formulated with Miconazole and Chlorhexidine for the treatment of moderate to severe fungal and/or bacterial skin infections. The antibacterial activity of MiconaHex+Triz Shampoo is potentiated with the added TrizEDTA. This shampoo also contains ceramides for epidermal barrier repair.

Miconazole 2% is a synthetic antifungal drug used to prevent and treat fungal skin infections.

Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2% is generally used as adjunctive therapy for bacterial skin infections. Chlorhexidine has residual effects and remains active on the skin after rinsing. Bacteria and fungi do not develop resistance to chlorhexidine gluconate.

TrizEDTA has antimicrobial, antibiotic and chlorhexidine potentiating activity. TrizEDTA disrupts the bacterial cell wall by chelating metal ions making the cell wall more porous.

Ceramides aid in moisturizing, repairing and restoring dry, damaged skin.

Directions: Shake well. Apply to wet coat, rub onto skin and haircoat to create a rich latter. Allow shampoo to remain on skin and coat for 5-10 minutes. Rinse well. Use up to 4 times per week or as directed by your veterinarian.

Active Ingredients:
chlorhexidine gluconate 2%, miconazole nitrate 2%, TrizEDTA (tromethamine, disodium EDTA dihydrate), ceramides

Also contains: lauramine oxide, cocamidopropyl betaine, decyl glucoside, lactic acid, lavender and lemongrass oils

Use topically only. Avoid contact with eyes.
